CCO associate staff members Steve and Jill Benson reach out to students at Gordon and other college students in the North Shore area of Massachusetts.
Jill is a fulltime student, and Steve serves as the Assistant Director of College Bound at Gordon College. College Bound is an after-school tutoring and homework help program that serves children K-8 in a housing project in Lynn, MA. Steve oversees the tutoring program by working closely with college students who want to be involved in the lives of the local youth, and he meets weekly with students to discuss worldview, poverty, justice, and to offer guidance in the tutoring.
Jill and Steve enjoy having students over to their apartment for dinner, game nights, movie discussions, and holidays.
