CCO staff worker Bob Robinson ministers to students at Stark State College in partnership with Jackson Friends Church, where he serves as Pastor for College Students and Young Adults. On campus, he is helping to initiate a new campus fellowship group, facilitates small-group discussions on faith as it relates to academic studies and vocation, leads Bible studies, and helps organize intramural sports for the campus.
Join Bob on Tuesdays from 4-5pm in Room G106 for Community of Faith, a group exploring the person of Jesus.
Jackson Friends Church provides excellent new facilities for intramural basketball and volleyball, hosts students in their Java House and Bistro for “The Gathering” that meets on Thursday nights, and offers the “Current” worship experience on Sunday mornings that promises “not to be your daddy’s church service.”
Bob can be found most of the time in Stark State’s Student Services Center or over at Kent State’s Campus Center getting to know students. He also hangs out over at Starbucks and Panera Bread at The Strip, talking with students over a cup of coffee or lunch.
